Hair Implantation

Once the recipient sites have been created and the follicular unit grafts have been appropriately trimmed and prepared, they may beimplanted. Careful and delicate handling of the grafts is of vital importance. If the grafts are mishandled, the viability will be threatened or the hair will grow in a twisted or kinked fashion. The grafts must be kept moist and cold throughout the implantation process. This portion of the surgery requires a delicate hand and patience as it can take several hours to complete.
